Craig Thompson (born September 21, 1975) is an American graphic novelist best known for his works Blankets (2003), Habibi (2011), and Good-bye, Chunky Rice (1999). He has received multiple major awards including three Eisner Awards, four Harvey Awards, and two Ignatz Awards, primarily for Blankets and Habibi. Raised in rural Wisconsin in a fundamentalist Christian family, he now lives in Portland, Oregon.
