Michael Foreman (born March 21, 1938, in Pakefield, Suffolk, England) is a British author and illustrator renowned for his children's books, winning the Kate Greenaway Medal twice (1982 for Sleeping Beauty and Other Favourite Fairy Tales and Long Neck and Thunder Foot, and 1989 for War Boy).
