Jon Klassen

Jon Klassen is a Canadian author and illustrator born in Niagara Falls, Ontario in 1981. He won the 2013 Caldecott Medal for *This Is Not My Hat*, his deadpan tale of a small fish who steals a hat. He is also a two-time Caldecott Honor winner. His *Hat* trilogy has become a modern classic of children's picture books.
