Anthony BrowneBritish
Anthony Browne (born 1946) is a British author and illustrator of children's picture books, best known for works like Gorilla (1983), Zoo (1992), and Voices in the Park (1998). He has won the Kate Greenaway Medal twice, the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2000 (the first British illustrator to do so), served as Children's Laureate from 2009-2011, and was appointed CBE in 2021 for services to literature.
