Mia Chung is an American playwright who grew up in San Diego with South Korean immigrant parents, shaping her interest in Korean themes and power dynamics. She earned a BA from Yale, an MPhil from Trinity College Dublin, and an MFA from Brown University, where her thesis play evolved into her acclaimed work You for Me for You.
