Paul Quarrington (1953-2010) was a prolific Canadian novelist, screenwriter, playwright, musician, and educator best known for his humorous yet poignant novels such as Whale Music, which won the 1989 Governor General's Award for Fiction, and King Leary, recipient of the 1988 Stephen Leacock Award for Humour and 2008 Canada Reads champion.
