About the Author
Sir Julian Sorell Huxley (1887–1975) was an English evolutionary biologist and science writer who coined "modern synthesis" for evolutionary theory and co-authored notable works like Evolution: The Modern Synthesis (1942) and The Science of Life (with H.G. Wells).
