Marion Catherine \"Kitty\" Barne (1882-1961) was a prolific British author of children's books and screenwriter, best known for her novel Visitors from London (1940), which won the Carnegie Medal for the year's best children's book by a British subject, and other works like She Shall Have Music (1938) and Rosina Copper (1954).
