Quentin Claudian Stephen Bell (1910–1996) was an English art historian, author, and artist, born in London as the son of Clive Bell and painter Vanessa Bell, and nephew of Virginia Woolf. He had a distinguished academic career, serving as Professor of Fine Art at the University of Leeds and Professor of History and Theory of Art at the University of Sussex, while also working as a potter and sculptor. His notable works include the acclaimed two-volume biography Virginia Woolf: A Biography (1972), which won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, Duff Cooper Prize, and Yorkshire Post Book of the Year Award, as well as books on the Bloomsbury Group and Charleston Farmhouse NYT Obituary.
