Florence Ai Ogawa (born Florence Anthony; October 21, 1947 – March 20, 2010) was an American poet renowned for her mastery of the dramatic monologue and unflinching exploration of dark, controversial themes. Her most notable works include Vice: New and Selected Poems (1999), which won the National Book Award for Poetry, Sin (1986, American Book Award), and Killing Floor (1979, Lamont Poetry Selection). She received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, and others, and taught at Oklahoma State University.
