Stacy Madeleine Schiff (born 1961) is an American author and biographer best known for her Pulitzer Prize-winning work Véra (Mrs. Vladimir Nabokov) and other acclaimed books including Cleopatra: A Life, The Witches: Salem, 1692, and The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams. She graduated from Williams College and worked as a senior editor at Simon & Schuster before becoming a full-time writer, earning numerous awards such as the George Washington Book Prize and PEN/Jacqueline Bograd Weld Award for Biography.
