Keith Waldrop (1932-2023) was an American poet, translator, publisher, and professor known for his experimental poetry and co-founding Burning Deck Press with his wife Rosmarie Waldrop. His most notable work, Transcendental Studies: A Trilogy (2009), won the National Book Award for Poetry, and he received the French Chevalier des arts et des lettres for his translations of poets like Charles Baudelaire.
