Harper Lee (1926–2016) was an American novelist best known for To Kill a Mockingbird (1960), which won the Pulitzer Prize. Her long-awaited second novel, Go Set a Watchman (2015), was published 55 years later and won the Goodreads Choice Award for Fiction.
