Anne Fine (born 7 December 1947) is an English writer best known for her children's literature, including notable works like Madame Doubtfire (adapted into the film Mrs. Doubtfire), Goggle-Eyes, and Flour Babies. She has won two Carnegie Medals (1989 and 1992), two Whitbread Children's Book Awards, served as the UK Children's Laureate from 2001-2003, and was appointed OBE in 2003. Read more →
