About the Author

Graham Farmelo (born 1953) is a British science writer and biographer best known for his award-winning book The Strangest Man (2009), a biography of physicist Paul Dirac that won the Costa Biography Prize, Los Angeles Times Science Book Prize, and Physics World Book of the Year. Other notable works include Churchill's Bomb (2013) and The Universe Speaks in Numbers (2019). He is a Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge, and has received the Kelvin Medal for public understanding of physics.
