About the Author

Greg Williamson (born 1964) is an American poet who grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and studied at Vanderbilt University, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Johns Hopkins University, where he has taught in the Writing Seminars since 1992. He is renowned for his innovative formal verse, including the invention of the "Double Exposure" form, and his notable works include Errors in the Script (2001), runner-up for the Poet's Prize, and A Most Marvelous Piece of Luck (2008). His achievements include the 1995 Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize for his debut The Silent Partner, the 1998 Whiting Award, and the 2004 Academy Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
