Arthur Gordon Maling (1923-2013) was an American author of crime and thriller novels, best known for his Brock & Potter series including Ripoff (1976), Schroeder's Game (1977), and Lucky Devil (1978), as well as the Edgar Award-winning standalone The Rheingold Route (1979), for which he also received a National Book Award nomination.
