Mordicai GersteinAmerican
Mordicai Gerstein (1935-2019) was an American author, illustrator, and artist renowned for his children's books, most notably The Man Who Walked Between the Towers, which won the 2004 Caldecott Medal and Boston Globe–Horn Book Award. He also illustrated the Something Queer is Going On mystery series and created works like The White Ram, earning the 2006 National Jewish Book Award.
