About the Author
Warren KieferAmerican
Warren Kiefer (1929-1995) was an American novelist, screenwriter, and film director born in New Jersey. He authored eight thriller novels, including the Edgar Award-winning The Lingala Code (1972), and directed films such as Castle of the Living Dead (1964). After studying at the University of New Mexico and University of Maryland, he moved to Italy for film work and later to Argentina, where he died of a heart attack.
