The Ice Saints

John Francis Tuohy (1925–1999) was an English writer and academic known for his novels and short stories exploring cultural conflicts and human experiences abroad. His most notable work, The Ice Saints (1965), set in Poland, won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize and Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, with other major awards including the Katherine Mansfield-Menton Prize, E.M.
