About the Authors
Chris Raschka is an American author and illustrator of children's books born in Huntington, Pennsylvania in 1959. He won the Caldecott Medal twice—for *The Hello, Goodbye Window* (2006) and *A Ball for Daisy* (2012). He is also a Caldecott Honor winner for *Yo! Read more →
Norton Juster (1929–2021) was an American author and architect best known for the classic children's novel *The Phantom Tollbooth* (1961). He wrote *The Hello, Goodbye Window*, illustrated by Chris Raschka, which won the 2006 Caldecott Medal. He taught architecture and design for over twenty years at Hampshire College.
