About the Author
Paul McVeighIrish
Paul McVeigh is an Irish author born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, whose debut novel The Good Son (2015), set during the Troubles, won the Polari First Book Prize and McCrea Literary Award, and was shortlisted for several others including the Authors' Club Best First Novel Award. His play Big Man (2022) won an Irish Times Theatre Award, and his short story collection I Hear You was published in 2025.
