The Entertainer: Movies, Magic, and My Father's Twentieth Century

Margaret Talbot is an American nonfiction writer and staff writer at The New Yorker since 2004, known for profiling cultural and legal issues. Born in Los Angeles to actor Lyle Talbot, she authored his biography The Entertainer (2012) and co-authored By the Light of Burning Dreams (2021) with her brother David Talbot, earning a Whiting Award.
