Stanley EllinAmerican
Stanley Bernard Ellin (1916-1986) was an American mystery writer born in Brooklyn, New York. Best known for his short stories like "The Specialty of the House," he also wrote acclaimed novels such as Dreadful Summit and The Eighth Circle, winning three Edgar Awards and the Mystery Writers of America's Grand Master Award in 1981.
