Susanna Jones (born 1967) is a British writer who grew up in Yorkshire, studied drama at Royal Holloway University of London, and earned an MA in Novel Writing from the University of Manchester. House. Her debut novel, The Earthquake Bird (2001), won the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, Betty Trask Award, and Crime Writers' Association John Creasey Dagger (New Blood Dagger); other notable works include Water Lily (2003), The Missing Person's Guide to Love (2007), and When Nights Were Cold (2012).
