The Boy Who Catches Wasps

Duo Duo, pen name of Li Shizheng, was born in 1951 in Beijing, China. A prominent member of the Misty Poets, he began writing during the Cultural Revolution and later lived in exile abroad after the 1989 Tiananmen Square events before returning to China in 2004. He won the 2010 Neustadt International Prize for Literature, the first Chinese author to receive this honor.
