That's Not a Feeling

Dan Josefson is an American writer born on March 8, 1974, in Mount Kisco, New York, who grew up in Chappaqua. He graduated from Williams College with a BA and earned an MFA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His debut novel That's Not a Feeling (2012), set in a therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens, was a New York Times Editors' Choice, a Booklist best book of 2012, and contributed to his 2015 Whiting Award in fiction; he lives in New York City.
