Susan ElderkinEnglish
Susan Elderkin (born 1968 in Crawley, England) is an English novelist, journalist, bibliotherapist, and creative writing teacher. She is the author of two critically acclaimed novels, Sunset Over Chocolate Mountains (2000), which won the Betty Trask Prize and was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction, and The Voices (2003), shortlisted for the Ondaatje Prize and longlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award; she was named one of Granta's 20 Best Young British Novelists in 2003. With Ella Berthoud, she co-authored the bibliotherapy books The Novel Cure (2013) and The Story Cure (2016), and she has worked as a bibliotherapist at The School of Life.com, MacDowell
