Stations of the Tide

Michael Swanwick (born November 18, 1950) is an American science fiction and fantasy author known for his complex, mythopoetic tales blending technology, magic, and reality. Notable works include the Nebula-winning novel Stations of the Tide (1991), The Iron Dragon's Daughter (1993), and Hugo-winning short stories such as "The Very Pulse of the Machine" (1999), "The Dog Said Bow-Wow" (2002), and others. (five between 1999-2004), a Nebula, World Fantasy, and Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award.
