Emily Tesh is a British science fiction and fantasy author. She won the 2024 Hugo Award for Best Novel for *Some Desperate Glory*, an intense space opera about a young woman raised in a militaristic cult who discovers the universe is more complicated than she was taught. She previously won the Alex Award for her novella *Drowned Country*.
