Snowflake Bentley

Mary Azarian (born December 8, 1940) is an American woodcut artist and illustrator best known for her folk-art style illustrations in over 50 children's books, including the Caldecott Medal-winning Snowflake Bentley (1998) by Jacqueline Briggs Martin, as well as A Farmer's Alphabet (1981) and A Gardener's Alphabet (2000), which she both wrote and illustrated.Mary Azarian
