Peter DickinsonEnglish
Peter Dickinson (1927-2015) was an English author and poet best known for his children's fantasy novels and detective fiction, winning the Carnegie Medal twice consecutively for Tulku (1979) and City of Gold (1980), as well as Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger awards for Skin Deep (1968) and A Pride of Heroes (1969). Other notable works include Eva, The Blue Hawk, and the Changes trilogy, and he was appointed OBE in 2009 for services to literature.
