Elizabeth DayEnglish
Elizabeth Day (born 1978) is an English novelist, journalist, and broadcaster, best known for her novels including Scissors Paper Stone, The Party, and Magpie, as well as her bestselling non-fiction book How to Fail and the chart-topping podcast How to Fail with Elizabeth Day. Her debut novel Scissors Paper Stone won the Betty Trask Award, and she was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2024. She has also received journalism accolades such as Young Journalist of the Year at the 2004 British Press Awards.
