きれぎれ (Rip It Up)

Kō Machida (born January 15, 1962, in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese author, punk rock singer, poet, and actor known for his unique literary style blending nonsense, irreverence, and slapstick influenced by Kansai rakugo and jidaigeki. His notable works include Gussun Daikoku (1996), Kiregire ("Shreds", 2000), and Kokuhaku ("Confession", 2005); he has received major awards such as the Bunkamura Deux Magots Literary Award, Akutagawa Prize, Tanizaki Prize, and Kawabata Yasunari Literary Award.
