Rider

Mark Rudman (born 1948) is an American poet known for his novelistic style blending poetry and prose, former professor at Columbia University and New York University, and translator of works like Boris Pasternak's My Sister—Life. His most notable works include the Rider Quintet—Rider (1994), Millennium Hotel (1996), Provoked in Venice (1999), The Couple (2002), and Sundays on the Phone (2005)—with Rider winning the National Book Critics Circle Award in Poetry, alongside other honors like the Guggenheim Fellowship (1996) and Max Hayward Award for translation.
