Reading the Earth

Claude Wilkinson (born December 17, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American poet, critic, essayist, and painter. He earned degrees from the University of Mississippi and the University of Memphis, served as writer-in-residence and Provost Scholar at Ole Miss, and has published several poetry collections including Joy in the Morning (2004), Marvelous Light (2018), World Without End (2020), and Soon Done with the Crosses (2023).
