Leopold InfeldPolish
Leopold Infeld (1898–1968) was a Polish physicist renowned for his work in the theory of relativity, notably collaborating with Albert Einstein on equations describing star movements and co-authoring the popular science book The Evolution of Physics. Other key contributions include the Born–Infeld model with Max Born and the Infeld-Hull Factorization Method; he also wrote Quest: An Autobiography and Whom the Gods Love: The Story of Évariste Galois, earning the Anisfield Award for the former.
