Patrick Deville (born December 14, 1957) is a French novelist known for his "non-fiction novels" blending history, travel, and biography, particularly the Abracadabra cycle including Pura Vida (2004), Equatoria (2009), Kampuchéa (2011), and the Prix Femina-winning Peste et Choléra (2012).
