Peregrine

William Bayer (born 1939) is an American novelist from Cleveland, Ohio, son of attorney Leo G. Bayer and screenwriter Eleanor Perry. He is the author of twenty-one books, including New York Times best-sellers Switch and Pattern Crimes, and the creator of the Frank Janek detective series; his works have been translated into multiple languages and adapted for television.
