Our Lady of Darkness

Fritz Reuter Leiber Jr. (1910-1992) was an American author renowned for his pioneering work in fantasy, horror, and science fiction, particularly the sword-and-sorcery series featuring Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, starting with "Two Sought Adventure" (1939), and novels like The Big Time (Hugo winner, 1958/1961) and The Wanderer (Hugo winner, 1964). He garnered multiple Hugo and Nebula Awards, including for "Ill Met in Lankhmar" and "Ship of Shadows," and was honored as SFWA Grand Master (1981), Gandalf Grand Master of Fantasy (1975), and inaugural Bram Stoker Lifetime Achievement winner.
