About This Book
Claire Fuller's debut novel is a psychologically harrowing story of Peggy, who at eight years old was taken by her survivalist father to a remote German forest where they lived in total isolation for years, told in alternating timelines from Peggy's childhood captivity and her teenage return to London. It won the Desmond Elliott Prize in 2015 and the Saltire First Book Award.
About the Author
Claire Fuller is a British novelist born in 1967 in Oxfordshire. She studied sculpture at Winchester School of Art and worked as a manager before publishing her debut novel.
