Kennedy FraserAmerican
Kennedy Fraser (born 1948) was a British-born American essayist and fashion writer best known for her long tenure at The New Yorker, where she wrote the shopping column and essays from 1970 onward. She authored collections of her work including The Fashionable Mind (1981), Scenes from the Fashionable World (1987), and Ornament and Silence (1996), praised for their insight and grace. She received a Whiting Award for her contributions to literature.
