Dennis BockCanadian
Dennis Bock (born 1964) is a Canadian novelist and short story writer known for works including The Ash Garden (2001), The Communist's Daughter (2006), Going Home Again (2013 shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize), and The Good German (2020). He won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award and Betty Trask Award for his debut collection Olympia (1998), and the Canada-Japan Literary Award for The Ash Garden, with multiple international shortlists such as the International Dublin Literary Award. He lectures at the University of Toronto and lives in Canada.
