Mitsuhiro MuroiJapanese
Mitsuhiro Muroi (1955-2019) was a Japanese novelist and literary critic from Fukushima Prefecture who worked as a librarian and preparatory school instructor before gaining prominence. Akutagawa Prize. He won the 31st Gunzō Newcomer Literary Prize (criticism category) in 1988 for "Zero no Chikara" and the 111th Akutagawa Prize in 1994 for his novel "Odoru Deku" (Dancing Wooden Doll), one of his most notable works alongside "Nekomata Shūi" (Cat Again Legacy).
