About the Author
Selva Almada is an Argentine author born in Entre Ríos in 1973. Her novella *Not a River* (*El viento que arrasa*), shortlisted for the 2024 International Booker Prize, is a meditative, lyrical work set on the rivers of northern Argentina. She is regarded as one of the most important voices in contemporary Argentine literature.
