Edward St AubynEnglish
Edward St Aubyn, born in London in 1960, is an English novelist best known for his semi-autobiographical Patrick Melrose series, including Never Mind, Bad News, Some Hope, Mother's Milk, and At Last, which explore themes of trauma, addiction, and family dysfunction among the British upper class. Mother's Milk was shortlisted for the 2006 Man Booker Prize and won the 2007 Prix Femina Étranger and South Bank Show award for literature. He has also received the Betty Trask Award for Never Mind and the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for Lost for Words.
