Quentin BlakeEnglish
Sir Quentin Blake, born in 1932, is an English cartoonist, caricaturist, illustrator, and children's writer who has illustrated over 300 books, most notably 18 by Roald Dahl including The BFG and Matilda, as well as his own award-winning titles like Mister Magnolia and Clown. He served as the first British Children's Laureate from 1999 to 2001, won the 2002 Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration, and was knighted in 2013 for services to illustration.
