Frank Cottrell-Boyce (born 23 September 1959) is a British author and screenwriter best known for his children's novels such as Millions (2004), which won the Carnegie Medal, Framed (2005), Cosmic (2008), and The Unforgotten Coat (2011), winner of the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize; he also penned screenplays for films like 24 Hour Party People and the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony, and was appointed Children's Laureate in 2024.
