About the Author
Silvia Moreno-Garcia is a Mexican-Canadian author of speculative fiction, horror, and historical fantasy. Born in Mexico, she immigrated to Canada and has become one of the most celebrated voices in contemporary genre fiction. Her breakthrough novel Mexican Gothic (2020) is a lush, critically acclaimed Gothic horror novel set in 1950s Mexico, drawing on the traditions of the English Gothic novel and Mexican cultural history to create something entirely original.
