Christopher Tilghman (born 1946) is an American novelist and short story writer, raised in Boston and deeply connected to his family's farm on Maryland's Eastern Shore. He graduated from Yale University, served in the U.S. Navy, worked various jobs including at a sawmill and as a corporate copywriter, edited Ploughshares, and teaches at the University of Virginia.
